Founded by Joseph Dennie (who wrote under the pen name Oliver Oldschool) and Ashbury Dickens in 1801, the Port Folio was among the most successful literary and political magazines published during the Federal Era. Each issue contained a selection of poety and song, essays, and literature, along with engraved illustrations. Dennie died in 1812, but the magazine continued until 1827. This volume is 626 pages with some illustrations.
